About Yokai Prefecture

Behind The Brand  

     Yōkai Prefecture started as only my liking for anime and want to bring a new creative outlet to skating through custom grip tape and over time I've expanded to be much more than what painting on grips would allow.

     Many of my characters are loosely based on recognizable Yōkai (supernatural creatures from traditional Japanese folklore). These characters are representative of the differences of every one of all types of backgrounds.  The Prefecture In my name stands for a district or town and represents the place to express my creativity through the outlet of my characters and art.
